Our philosophy at Posh Paws Puppies is simple: every furry member of our family deserves their own warm and loving home. That's why we've designed our Guardian Home program with you in mind. In this special initiative, our guardian families nurture, train, and love our pups throughout their entire breeding journey. And when their paws retire, they become your cherished family companions!

Becoming a guardian with Posh Paws Puppies is a significant commitment filled with love, patience, and devotion. You provide a nurturing home, and in return, you receive a lifetime of unconditional love and joy. Once their dedicated service concludes, these dogs retire into the arms of their Guardian Home families permanently.
Our Commitment
We cover all breeding-related expenses, ensuring the health and well-being of our furry family members. Upon retirement, we spay or neuter the dog, covering all associated costs. There's a nominal fee associated with our Guardian Home pups, ensuring your commitment and dedication.
The details

Female dogs return to us 1-2 weeks prior to delivery and stay until puppies are weaned, typically around 5/6 weeks old.

Males return to us for short periods, sometimes for veterinary services and occasionally for mating needs.

Guardian Requirements
Loving Home
Provide a loving, safe, and secure environment for our Goldendoodle in your home.
Location
Live within 50 miles of Pearland, TX, to facilitate easy coordination and visits.
Time and Attention
Dedicate ample time for training, socialization, and affectionate interactions with the dog.
Financial Responsibility
Cover all non-breeding related expenses, including food, grooming, regular vet check-ups, and vaccinations.
Flexibility
Be open to accommodating short visits from our breeding program coordinators when necessary for mating or veterinary needs.
Health and Safety
Ensure regular exercise, a balanced diet, and a secure environment to promote the dog’s well-being.
Training
Enroll in basic obedience training classes to promote good behavior and socialization skills.
Communication
Maintain open and honest communication with Posh Paws Puppies regarding the dog's health, behavior, and general well-being.
Spaying/Neutering
Understand that the dog will be spayed or neutered upon retirement, and Posh Paws Puppies will cover the associated costs.
Puppy Care
If applicable, provide exceptional care to puppies from 8 weeks of age to 2 years old, under the guidance and support of Posh Paws Puppies.
Retirement Care

Application Approval
Successfully complete our thorough application process to be approved as a Guardian Home.
